By purchasing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

For EU consumers, applicable EU consumer protection laws may also apply.

2. Eligibility

By using our services, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
• You are not using our services for prohibited activities (see AUP)

3. Use of Our Services

You agree to use EgoHoster services for lawful purposes only.
You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).

We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in:

• Illegal content
• Copyright infringement
• Fraud or abuse
• Malware distribution
• Excessive resource usage
• Network attacks

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone in accordance with the law.

4. Account Registration

To use our services, you must create an account and provide accurate information.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity under your account
• Updating your billing and contact information

If unauthorized access occurs, you must notify us immediately.

5. Service Activation

Hosting services are activated:

• After successful payment
• After account verification (if required)

Instant activation may apply to some services.

6. Payment and Billing

6.1. Pricing

All prices are listed in the currency displayed on the website.
Taxes may apply based on your location.

6.2. Recurring Payments

Most hosting plans renew automatically unless canceled.

6.3. Failed Payments

If payment fails:

• Your service may be suspended
• Your service may be terminated after a grace period

6.4. No VAT

EgoHoster LLC is a US company and does not charge VAT.
EU customers may be responsible for self-assessed tax (if required by their local law).

7. Refund Policy

Our full Refund Policy is published separately.
Key points:

• Hosting services may be refundable within 24–72 hours (if applicable)
• Domains, SSL certificates, and dedicated IPs are non-refundable
• Refunds apply only if no violations occurred

Once service is used or activated, refunds may not apply.
EU customers are informed that digital services begin immediately, waiving the right of withdrawal.

8. Prohibited Activities

Customers may not use EgoHoster services for:

• Hosting illegal content
• Malware, phishing, spam
• DDoS attacks
• Copyright-infringing material
• Scams or fraudulent activity
• High-risk applications without permission
• Pornographic content where prohibited

9. Resource Usage Limits

Shared hosting plans have usage limits:

• CPU and RAM thresholds
• Fair-use bandwidth
• Email sending limits
• Disk usage limits

We may temporarily or permanently restrict accounts exceeding limits.

10. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Our SLA defines uptime guarantees and compensation rules.
EgoHoster strives to provide 99.9% uptime, excluding:

• Scheduled maintenance
• External attacks
• User-caused issues
• Force majeure events

11. Backups

EgoHoster may provide backup tools, but:

• Backups are not guaranteed
• Customers are fully responsible for their own backups
• EgoHoster is not liable for data loss

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• AUP violations
• Non-payment
• Security issues
• Abuse or illegal activity

Serious violations may result in immediate termination with no refund.

13. EU Consumer Protection Compliance

For customers located in the European Union:

• You may have additional rights under EU law
• You acknowledge and agree that hosting services begin immediately upon payment
• Therefore, the EU withdrawal right does not apply to digital services already delivered
• We will always act in accordance with EU consumer protection regulations

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

• EgoHoster LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• EgoHoster LLC is not liable for data loss or downtime
• Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid in the last 12 months

Some EU jurisdictions may offer additional rights that override this clause.

15. DMCA Compliance

As a US-based company, EgoHoster follows the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Copyright complaints must follow the DMCA process described in our DMCA Policy.

16. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.
Changes take effect when posted.
Continued use of the service indicates your acceptance.
